Are you able to help us by making a donation - either a single amount or a regular monthly standing order? Your donation really will help to save lives of those who neeed our help. If you are able to make a contribution to our work our bank details for any donations are Lloyds Bank JLP TRUST ANIMAL RESCUE 30-62-55 27599668. We can also claim gift aid on donations - please ask us for a form .Thankyou for caring about those animals who have no family of their own.

JLP Trust was established in 2014 and has saved many dogs and cats. In May 2016 we were awarded charity status (registered charity 1167288) and we work tirelessly to save as many animals as we can.

We have various fundraising events throughout the year and have group social walks every month - please contact us for details.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with fostering, home checking, fundraising and much more - if you can help then please give us a call. Thanks

What do we do?

Mickey came to us through no fault of his own due to his owner having serious health issues. He is now happily rehomed, living with a lovely family and their dog and cat

Sybil came to us from an abusive background where she had been beaten. She now lives a great life with her new parents and their cat

Sadly ever more dogs and cats find themselves abandoned or needing to be  rehomed through no fault of their own. Every rescue is full to capacity and animals are turned away through lack of kennels or foster homes. We aim to help these animals by trying wherever possible to help people rehome their dogs (or cats) from home which is less stressful for the dog and also helps to ensure that they are rehomed safely and with the back up of lifetime support. We also take in dogs which are more urgent and provide safe places for them through  a growing number of foster homes.

We want to try and make sure that dogs and cats in South Yorkshire do not slip through the net due to lack of rescue places. However, in order to help more animals we do need people to help us. We rely solely on donations and fundraising - we get no support from the Government or other official bodies. So every penny we spend on food, vets fees, vaccinations, microchipping. neutering and transport needs to be raised directly from the people who support us. The more support we have the more animals we can help - it's simple.

How you can help

  • Fundraising -
  • could you hold a coffee morning or cake sale at work?
  • How about a car boot sale on our behalf?
  • A sponsored event such as a walk, half marathon or Three Peaks Challenge?
  • Could you have a collecting tin at your shop?
  • How about a fun day such as a 'onesie day', fancy dress or some other event?
  • Can you help us organise larger events such as our sponsored dog walks, charity nights and other events?

Every penny we raise is spent on the animals we save.

We need help from those local to us and those further afield. Below are some of the ways you can help us to help animals

  • Fostering
  • Could you foster a dog or cat in your own home until we are able to rehome them permanently?
  • We cover the cost of vets bills and can provide food if necessary
  • You would provide a lifeline to the urgent animals we have who cannot remain in their current home
  • We need pet free and homes with other pets too - can you help?

Foster homes really do save lives

  • Adoption
  • Are you or a member of your family looking for a dog or cat to join your family?
  • are you able to offer a loving home for the dog or cat for life?
  • Have a look at our animals looking for new homes and give us a call on 07766 766252 or 07950 404074 to arrnage to meet any of them

Adoption changes the world of that animal

  • Homechecking
  • Every animal we adopt out to a new home has a homecheck carried out
  • Are you able to spare some time to help with our homechecking procedures?

Homechecking helps us to rehome our dogs and cats to great people

  • Sharing our animals
  • Can you share our animals on Facebook?
  • Or follow us on Twitter?
  • The more people who see our animals the better their chances of finding a new home

Sharing helps find new homes
